Thank you Autumn leaves card + Background Of The Month

It is hard to believe that Autumn is around the corner. To get in the Fall mood, I am sharing a thank you autumn leaves card. This is a beautiful stamp from Unity Stamp Company called Rustic Foliage. It is their Background Of The Month membership stamp for August 2024. I love the mix of leaves and that some of them are solid and others are outlines to color in. The detailed instructions are part of the BOM insert perks for August. You can find the kit and supplies down below.

In summary, to make this thank you Autumn leaves card, begin by stamping the leaves in rust color ink onto white cardstock. Then, add color variations using distress ink pads and blending brushes. Also, to fill in the tiny areas, use extra small brush tips to blend in color. For the card front edges, add tea dye distress ink blending. Next, die-cut or stamp a large sentiment in white for the center of the card plus a vellum shadow layer. Then, trim or die-cut all of the card layers and frames. I used kraft color and white cardstock layers. Finally, embellish with tiny adhesive pearls, to finish.
