Stencil Color Block Floral Card using Unity Stamp Co. Whit Kit April 2026

See a fun color block effect over the floral stamping.

Hi there, friends. Welcome to my blog, it's Gaylynn. Today I am pairing the Unity Stamp Company April 2026 Ink & Petals Whit Kit card kit stamps with vertical color block stenciling. This created a fun color effect over the floral stamping. I chose a blend of colors, but almost any blend combination works for cards like these. No detailed coloring is needed. To create this card, I used rubber stamping, ink blending, stenciling, fussy cutting and die-cutting. The Ink & Petals STAMPS ONLY option is also available. I have included the project steps and supplies below.

Here is a short overview.

To begin, here is a look at the finished card.
Sentiment: Sending a bouquet of kind thoughts.

Next, this is a look at the first part of the process of making this card.

Also, take a look at the last part of the process.

Additionally, here is a summary of the steps.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Prepare a vertical scored white card base 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

  2. Die-cut a rectangle on smooth white cardstock card front panel using the largest Scallops & Rectangles nesting dies.

  3. Stamp the flowers using Ink & Petals stamps onto the white cardstock panel using black ink.

  4. Stamp and die-cut the sentiment onto another piece of white cardstock with Scallops & Banners Nesting Dies.

  5. Using the stencil, ink blend over the flower panel using the vertical lines from the 3-in-1 Stencil and dye ink pads in green, pink and yellow.

  6. Before removing the stencil, add black splatters over the floral panel using black liquid paint, then heat set.

  7. Adhere the card front and sentiment over the card base, and add optional embellishments like hearts and dots.

Finally, here is a closer look at this color block card.
