Peony Background Stamping with Gold Heat Embossing

Create with elegant peony background stamping and with gold heat embossing.

Welcome to my blog. Today, we are creating with elegant peony background stamping and with gold heat embossing. This greeting card could be for almost any occasion. But this one is for condolences. I wanted more of these on hand and ready to send, for when they are needed. I include a large stamped sympathy sentiment tag over the shimmery peony background. This card works for birthdays, friendship, thank you, love occasions and more, by switching out the sentiment.

The background was made using ink blending, background stamping and gold heat embossing. The featured Unity Stamp Company background stamp is called Peony Reverie. The sentiment is from Say It Loud & Clear.

To begin, here is a look at the finished card.
Sentiment: With Sympathy

To begin creating this shimmery card, die-cut your rectangle layered panels using white and black cardstock using Scallops & Rectangles nesting dies. Also, stamp the sentiment from Say It Loud & Clear. Then die-cut the sentiment using Scallops & Banners nesting dies.

Next, ink blend four shades of pink dye ink onto the smallest white rectangle panel. Over the ink blending, stamp the Peony Reverie using watermark ink like VersaMark. Then, cover the stamping with fine gold embossing powder and heat set the panel.

Finally, assemble the card layers and top with the sentiment panel, hearts and gems, to finish.
