Hi there and welcome to my blog. Here, I am sharing a peace sign girl card with a little attitude. This one was fun to make. I decided to add ink blending for background color and then layer the girl for dimension and texture. I used a few techniques like ink blending, Copic marker coloring, fussy cutting, stamping and splattering. I tried to keep the card looking clean by keeping everything contained inside the arch layer. In today's project, I focused on the stamp set by Unity Stamp Company called Hot Flash Happy Hour. The supplies, steps and short video are below.

Helpful Tips:
Prepare a vertical card base from white cardstock, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded.
Stamp the girl twice onto two pieces of smooth white cardstock using Copic friendly ink or ink compatible with your coloring medium.
Die-cut one of the stamped panels into a medium-sized arch shape from Scallops & Arches dies, approximately 4 1/4" x 3 1/4".
Die-cut the sentiment using Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment dies.
Onto that arch panel, add ink blending in green, orange, yellow and blue shades to make a sunset look.
Add white paint splatters over the ink blending and then heat set.
Color the girl on the second stamped panel. I used Copic markers in peach, brown, tan and red hues.
Fussy cut (cut out) the second stamped girl, which was colored in.
Adhere the arch panel, the fussy cut girl and the sentiment over the card base using thin foam tape.
Here is another look at the finished card.
Sentiment: Aging like fine wine. Full bodied & fabulous.
