Merry Poinsettia Christmas Card Set with Diecuts & Embossing ~ All About Christmas Collection

Greetings. Welcome to my blog. Making Christmas and holiday cards ahead of the season is something I like to do. Today, I show a pair of festive and modern style cards with embossing, die-cutting, stamping and fun layers. For these greetings, I used die-cuts, ink blending, pretty cardstock and dry embossing. I preassembled all of my card elements and sentiments. For this set of projects, I mostly used items from the All About Christmas Collection by Lisa Horton. As always, use what you have on hand to get started. See the full supply list and a full video linked below.

Helpful Tips:

1. Precut and score two white card bases.

2. Die-cut or trim two layered frame background panels.

3. Spritz and dry-emboss two teal card front panels using a linen 3D embossing folder. I used different sizes from the die sets.

4. Add a touch of gold shimmery treasured cardstock in different shimmer textures to accent the sentiments and the bell.

5. Die-cut and stamp all of the decorative elements and sentiments. Then add color to the pieces using ink blending.

6. Assemble the icons for both cards. I kept the colors teal, red and gold.

7. Layer and adhere the elements to the card fronts using flat and foam double-sided tape and glue.
