Make a cover frame for card making ~ Angel stamp, coloring & 3D embossing
Greetings and welcome. Here. I share how to make your own handmade cover frame for card making. This is simple and adds beautiful focus and a faux window effect. The featured Unity Stamp Company stamp and sentiment are from Angel of God stamps. To create this card, I used rubber stamping, ink blending, Copic marker coloring, dry embossing and die-cutting. I included the project steps, video and supplies below.

Sentiment: Held in grace and remembered with love.
Additionally, here is a summary of the steps.
Helpful Tips:
Prepare a vertical scored white card base 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.
Stamp the angel from Angel Of God stamps onto the center of a trimmed piece of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock; and also stamp and die-cut the sentiment using marker-friendly ink and sentiment dies.
Color the angel stamping using light shades of peach, tan, brown and green markers. I used Copic markers, but use what you have for coloring.
Adhere the angel panel over the card base.
Ink blend around the angel in light blue.
Cut another white cardstock panel 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" to prepare for a card frame cover.
Mist the panel lightly then dry emboss the panel using a 3D embossing folder.
After embossing, die-cut an arch in the center of the embossed panel using arch dies.
Adhere the frame cover layer, using thin foam tape, over the angel panel, along with the sentiment label.
Finally, here is a closer look at this card project.
