Hello and welcome to my blog. One thing that surprises a greeting card recipient is an interactive card element. For today's card making project, I show the process for an interactive spinner dog card, including rubber stamping. This pup appears to need a little support. Adding a spin element adds to the look and feel of this pup greeting. Making him spin against a paw print stamped heart will bring smiles and lift spirits.
Notably, the pup stamp and sentiment are the card's focus, while the heart background adds a soft accent. The patterned paper and torn layers add dimension and grounding. These are all by Unity Stamp Company.

Here is a look at the finished card.
Sentiment: May today require very little of you.
Next, begin building the card. Start by stamping, coloring and fussy cutting (cutting out) the weary dog and sentiment. Also, die-cut a rectangle background layered panel with white cardstock using Deckle & Stitches nesting dies. Optionally, die-cut or trim the sentiment using Scallops & Banners nesting dies.
Also, create a background by stamping onto the top of the die-cut rectangle panel. I chose a large heart stamp with paw prints to match the pup theme.
Additionally, create a grounding element by tearing and layering patterned paper in coordinating colors.
Finally, add a spinner element to attach the dog over the heart. Allow it to dry and set completely. The dog spins freely. Then, layer and assemble the card layers.
