How To Easily Line Up Letter Die-Cuts ~ Christmas Card

Hi. Thanks for visiting. Here is a technique showing how to easily line up letter die-cuts. This is a Christmas greeting card project using Unity Stamp Company stamps. It is also up on the Unity blog. This card design has easy paper layers and die-cut gold accents. I added tree cuts and tulle accents. The project supplies and a video are included below.

Helpful tips:

1. Prepare an A2-sized card base, 4 1/4" x 5.5" folded.

2. Trim or die-cut a card background panel from dark green solid cardstock. Also, trim a smaller card front panel using coordinating patterned paper.

3. Trim or die-cut two tree accents.

4. Diecut the sentiment layers using green, gold and white cardstock.

5. Use the negative of the MERRY cardstock piece as a temporary stencil to place and adhere the individual letters onto the white sentiment shadow layer. Carefully remove the stencil piece to reveal the word only.

6. Adhere the gold Christmas sentiment overlapping the green MERRY.

7. Adhere background paper panels together using flat double-sided tape.

8. Adhere tuille around the background paper.

9. Layer and adhere the sentiment and trees over the card using foam tape.
