Hot Foiling, Stamping, Heat Embossing Christmas Tree ~ Glimmer Of The Month and Stamp & Die Of The Month October 2025

Add shimmering hot foiling, stamping and heat embossing, each combined in this Christmas tree card.

Greetings. Welcome to my blog. Today is all about shimmering hot foiling, stamping and heat embossing, each combined in this Christmas tree handmade holiday greeting card. You will learn how this was made using the newest glimmer and clear stamp & die of the month. Of course, use what you have to get started.

Today is the opening of new signups for the monthly kit clubs at Spellbinders Paper Arts. I detail more about the clubs below. But first, today's project incorporates the Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month for October 2025 called Magic Wonderland. It includes a brand new Christmas inspired Glimmer hot foil background plates, sentiments, plus the Polished Brass hot foil roll.

I also added the Clear Stamp and Die Of The Month for October 2025 called To You And Yours. The big and beautiful Christmas tree was stamped, heat embossed and die-cut. See the full supply list and a short video linked below.

Please note, the Spellbinders subscription sign-up window will now open on the 6th of each month and close on the 27th (once existing club members' subscriptions have been processed.) If there is additional inventory remaining, then they will be made available for new subscriptions and will have limited availability.

  • Die Cutting (3 options)

  • Hot Foiling

  • Stamping (+ Die)

  • Embossing (2 options)

  • BetterPress

  • Wax Sealing

  • Stenciling

Helpful Tips:

  1. Preheat the Glimmer Hot Foil System platform.

  2. Precut and score a white card base.

  3. Trim an oversized smooth dark blue Oceanside Colorwheel cardstock panel for foiling preparation.

  4. Hot foil onto the Oceanside cardstock using the Magic Wonderland Glimmer plates and a large piece of the Polished Brass hot foil roll.

  5. Die-cut or trim the foiled cardstock panel using the large notched corner die approximately 4" x 5 1/4".

  6. Die-cut or hand-trim two layers of overlapping white snowdrifts from Landscape Edges dies.

  7. Using the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, stamp, heat emboss in white and die-cut the sentiment and the large tree sentiment. I used cardstock in Fern for the tree and Oceanside for the sentiment.

  8. Layer and adhere the elements to the card front.
