Hooray Dog Pack Wonky Card Making

Mix colors, patterns and shapes for a fun layered card design full of interest to frame these funny dogs.

Greetings friends. For this wonky card making project, I mixed colors, patterns and shapes.  This makes a fun layered card design full of interest to frame these funny dogs. I wanted this to be playful and bright. This features fun Unity Stamp Company stamps called The Whole Pack. To create this card, use stamps, markers, die-cutting and patterned paper. I include project tips, a short video and supplies below.

To begin, here is a look at the finished card.
Sentiment: Hooray! From the whole pack. We can't wait to see you!

Helpful tips:

  • Stamp the dogs on white using black marker-friendly ink.

  • Die-cut the dog panel and a color background panel using square nesting dies.

  • Stamp and die-cut the sentiment using banner dies.

  • Color the dog panel using your favorite markers. I chose to use Copic markers.

  • Optional: Add white paint dots for accents.

  • Onto coordinating patterned paper, trim or die-cut a rectangle background panel using rectangle dies.

  • Cut two photo corners with the same coordinating paper pack using photo corner dies.

  • Layer the square panels and corners over the paper layer in a wonky fashion, then add the sentiment.

Finally, here is a closer look at this card project.
