Happy New Year celebration geometric graphic card making

Happy New Year friends. Welcome to my blog. Here's wishing you and yours the very best in the New Year. Today's project features festive celebration greetings and icons to ring in the new year. For the focus of this project, I used the Resolutions rubber stamps & dies plus the pack of Resolutions 6x6 patterned paper. The full supply list is below.

Helpful Tips:

1. Precut and score a white A2-sized card base for a vertical card 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

2. Trim smooth white cardstock for stamping.

3. Stamp the sentiments and icons onto the white cardstock using black ink and/or metallic gold ink.

4. Die-cut the sentiment and icons.

5. Die-cut or trim a background layer using a geometric cover plate. Cut once on white cardstock and another time onto patterned paper. Save the pieces.

6. Adhere the patterned paper cover frame onto the card base.

7. Fill the frame with a mix of white and patterned paper cuts, fitting them into the proper shape sections.

8. Adhere the stamped sentiments and icons onto some of the white sections.
